10. China made me sick. I was deathly ill or at least it felt that way. I guess that is what you call the flu, but I could swear I got my flu shot
9. I got a part-time job tutoring students one-on-one in English. Each week, I spend about 10 hours teaching English, 3 hours studying how to teach English and 2 hours learning English.
8. It's the holidays? At least if you call my students dressing up in Halloween costumes and decorating Valentine cards for their parents a Thanksgiving party.
7. As research into Chinese pop culture, I successfully beat the entire game of Plants vs. Zombies.

5. Because it is cold outside, I spend a good part of my day putting on more layers or taking them off.
4. I am preparing a New Year's Eve performance, "Shoop" by Salt n Pepa. Yes, this is a formal event.
3. The headmaster of my school is adding cooking classes for children to our curriculum and is now building a mini Home Ec room. Today, I baked Christmas cookies.
2. My new Chinese roommate is teaching me how to cook and clean, basically how to "wok it out."
